TASTING NOTES

On the nose, aromas of black cherry, ripe currant, fresh herbs, and lightly roasted coffee. On the palate, supple tannins and balanced acidity bold flavours of blackberry, black cherry and toasty oak, with hints of spicy, black pepper. Pair with steak, braised short ribs, or BBQ’d burgers.

METHOD

Made from Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes are sourced from vineyards throughout the Lodi region. Fermented at a slightly warmer temperature than usual, the wine rests in French and American oak for a minimum of 3 months before bottling and release.
